4C Group Hosts the EEA Hospitality Leaders Symposium 2026 at The Westin London City
17 March 2026
4C Group was delighted to host the Energy & Environment Alliance (EEA) Hospitality Leaders Symposium 2026 for the fifth time at The Westin London City on Monday, 16 February 2026. This year’s Symposium centred on the theme of “Convergence” – the point at which the key drivers of hospitality performance and long-term prospects are coming together at unprecedented speed. The event welcomed investors, owners, operators, innovators, and global standard-setters, creating a platform for meaningful discussion on how leadership and strategic thinking must evolve in response to this new landscape. Leading technology voices and industry experts shared insights into emerging patterns shaping hospitality, highlighting their implications for value creation, resilience, and opportunity.

Under the framework of Capital, Insight, and Innovation, the gathering examined how rapidly evolving economic, technological, regulatory, and societal forces are influencing the decisions made across hospitality portfolios and markets worldwide.

A highlight of the programme was the Hospitality Dragon’sDen, which showcased innovative ideas, technologies, and development concepts that demonstrate how convergence is already taking shape across the industry. The session provided a dynamic look at how new solutions are gaining traction and where fresh commercial opportunities are beginning to emerge.

Raffaele Ruocco, General Manager of The Westin London City & Residences, delivered one of the opening addresses, setting the tone for the day’s discussions. He reflected on how hospitality leaders are navigating a period where macroeconomic pressures, capital markets, regulation, technology, and evolving societal expectations are intersecting rapidly. His remarks emphasised that traditional operational silos are becoming less effective, and that strong decision-making capabilities and leadership quality will be critical factors in building resilience and creating long-term value.

Representing 4C Group, Soraiya Salemohamed, ESG Director, participated in the panel discussion titled “Converging at Asset Level.” The session explored how senior operators are responding to increasing expectations while operating in an environment where margins remain tight. The conversation highlighted the importance of leadership at the asset level, focusing on people, culture, accountability, and operational discipline as key drivers for maintaining performance and strengthening brand trust.

The Symposium reinforced the importance of informed, forward-looking leadership at a time when change and complexity are accelerating across global markets. By bringing together diverse perspectives from across the hospitality ecosystem, the event provided valuable insight into how industry leaders can navigate the challenges and opportunities created by this era of convergence.

4C Group is proud to support initiatives that foster collaboration, innovation, and thought leadership, and looks forward to continuing to host events that help shape the future of the hospitality industry.
