Purple Umbrella Awards 2025: Canopy London City Apprentice Earns Recognition

Celebrating emerging talent was the focus of the Purple Umbrella Awards 2025, held at the House of Lords, where Connor Murphy, the hospitality apprentice from Canopy by Hilton London City, was recognised for his achievements. The team joined to support Connor, who was highly appreciated in the Best Apprentice Level 3 – a remarkable accomplishment given the highly competitive nature of the category, which included 88 apprentices currently enrolled through Umbrella Training.
Hosted at the heart of Westminster, the awards ceremony brought together industry leaders and aspiring hospitality professionals to celebrate excellence in apprenticeship and the future of the sector. The evening was a true reflection of the spirit and potential of tomorrow’s hospitality leaders.
Connor’s commendation is a testament to his dedication, hard work, and embodiment of Canopy London City’s EPIC values. He continues to demonstrate outstanding leadership qualities and a commitment to personal and professional growth.
