Taarab Restaurant at Turaco Spice Tree, a Tribute Portfolio Hotel in Zanzibar, has won three accolades at the 2026 World Luxury Restaurant Awards, securing recognition across Africa for its cuisine, locally sourced produce and culinary leadership.
The restaurant was named the Africa winner in three categories:

- Best Head Chef
