2 October 2025

4C Group was delighted to take part in the Annual Hospitality Conference (AHC) 2025, where our ESG Director, Soraiya Salemohamed, joined industry leaders for a dynamic exchange of ideas at the Built for the Future: Balancing Budget with Innovation, ESG, Safety, and Performance panel. The two days filled with thought-provoking discussions, meaningful exchanges, and new ideas shared across the UK hospitality community.

Soraiya was joined by a panel of esteemed experts, including Andy Illingworth, Head of Interior Design at HLM Architects; Paul Nash, Construction Consultant at Jansons Property; Georgina Selfe, Development Director at Accor; and Julie Rey-Gore, Senior Content Director – Operational Real Estate at Questex. The conversation brought together leading voices in hospitality to examine how intelligent planning, fresh thinking, and progressive solutions can drive both operational success and design excellence, even in the face of increasing build costs. The discussions also touched on the evolving regulatory landscape, including the Building Safety Act, and how the sector is aligning creative vision with commercial viability.
