Florattica Rooftop London – A Year On

Launched in November of 2022, the name Florattica is derived from a play on the words ‘flower’ and ‘attic’ and on entering the venue you would find this theme reflected in the design. Recently featured in the Lucky Drinker Guide for best bars and nightlife in London, Florattica Rooftop London celebrated its first anniversary in November of this year. The venue has received a lot of interest and admiration for its botanical interiors, ambience, and far-reaching views, as well as its cocktails and appetizing menu.
The fabulous architecture and design of the rooftop was led by ACME London. The elegant and refined interiors feature ceilings adorned with floral installations inspired by the silk-woven floral patterns created by local 17th-century French Huguenots. PHOHM, which has received multiple awards in its own right, installed the floral ceiling which is the largest permanent installation of its kind in the UK. The flowers are sustainable, and locally sourced to support our collective objective to reduce our carbon footprint.
The beautifully illustrated menu centres around a curated selection of exquisite floral-infused cocktails alongside a mouth-watering array of signature small plates, perfect for sharing. One of our firm favourites, “Hail Up” is a tantalizing fusion of fresh ingredients and inventive cocktail artistry. Florattica also extends its opening hours to serve up an epic three-course brunch on weekends.
With several TV shows, ads, and cultural programmes having been shot here the venue has had the privilege of hosting a number of renowned celebrities, influencers, and Media.
Besides becoming a firm favourite on the London scene, Florattica has been recognised in several award categories and took home the Nightclub/Lounge 2023 award at the 43rd Annual Gold Key Awards in November. Celebrating excellence in hospitality design, the Gold Key Awards is one of the industry’s oldest awards programmes.
Florattica was also shortlisted for the International FX Design Awards 2023, in the highly competitive Bar/Restaurant category, and also for the Restaurant and Bar Design Awards 2023.
With a trend in design recognition, the venue has also won the Hotel Bar Interior Award at the International Property Awards in October.
Florattica Rooftop London was featured in Condé Nast Traveller’s ‘Top 31 Best Things to Do in London This Weekend’. In addition to this, it has been nominated for this year’s Condé Nast Traveller Readers’ Choice Awards.
Florattica gained recognition at The Independent’s exclusive line-up of the ‘Best Outdoor Restaurants, Terraces, and Rooftop Bars in London to Book Now’.
Florattica has recently been honoured with the TripAdvisor Travellers Choice Award 2023, which reflects the incredible support from the amazing guests and the hard work of the dedicated team.
Florattica is truly a great spot to create special memories, with heated canopy seats on the terrace, guests can take advantage of both indoor and outdoor spaces. They also have the facility to book semi-private space or host the perfect event with a capacity of up to 200 guests. With cocktails paired to match East London’s finest sights, and ceilings covered in lush floral installations, it is easy to see why Florattica Rooftop London has become a keen hit with Londoners and features on London’s Nightlife circuit.
