Hospitality Stories Take Centre Stage: MYstorySLAM

2 July 2026

On 11 June, hospitality professionals from across the industry came together at White City House, London, for MYstorySLAM – an inspirational and entertaining evening celebrating the people, passion and stories that make hospitality such a remarkable industry.

MYstorySLAM is an unforgettable event dedicated to celebrating the journeys, passion and value behind everyone who comes together to create exceptional hospitality experiences. As part of the Festival of Hospitality programme, the event perfectly reflects the spirit of an industry built on people, connection and shared experiences.

4C Group is delighted to be a partner of the Festival of Hospitality, alongside BECK London, HUB BUILD, hansgrohe, AT&C Professional Systems Ltd and Blend Technology Consultants. We are delighted to support events that bring the hospitality community together to celebrate the individuals who turn this profession into a true passion and way of life.

The event was also supported by the Pay it Forward partners: Elliott Wood, Pillar, Cumming Group UK & Europe and EPR Architects, whose continued commitment helps create meaningful opportunities for the industry to connect and inspire one another. Hosted by the ever-energetic Michelle Moreno, with Neil Kazakos-Andrew providing the soundtrack for the evening, the event offered a wonderful mix of networking, inspiring conversations and plenty of fun.

This year’s FOH Slammers shared their memorable “2 + 2 = 5” moments – the people, places, choices and chance encounters that came together to create something greater than the sum of their parts. Their stories highlighted how unexpected opportunities often arise from the most unlikely places, how career journeys are rarely straightforward, and how every twist, turn and collision along the way can shape our future in remarkable ways. Together, these experiences demonstrated that sometimes it really is the unexpected connections that make 2 + 2 = 5.

Everyone left the room inspired by the incredible stories that were shared. A heartfelt thank you to everyone who attended and helped make the evening so special, and an especially sincere thank you to all of the Slammers for their openness, honesty and inspiring stories, which reminded us all why hospitality is such an extraordinary industry to be part of.

About 4C Group

Founded in 2010, 4C Group is an international property development and hotel management company with a growing portfolio spanning major business hubs and leisure destinations across the UK, East Africa, and Canada. The business builds upon the strong foundations of a family-owned property enterprise with roots dating back to the 1990s.

Over the years, 4C Group has established a reputation for delivering high-quality hospitality and real estate developments that combine innovation, design excellence, and long-term value creation. In 2021, the company expanded its hospitality portfolio with the launch of two landmark London properties – the five-star The Westin London City and Canopy by Hilton London City. Both hotels marked significant milestones as the first UK openings for Marriott and Hilton’s respective luxury and lifestyle brands.

Continuing its expansion within the residential sector, 4C Group partnered with Regal London and Pluto Finance in 2022 to deliver The Haydon, a premium residential development comprising 87 apartments in Aldgate, at the heart of the City of London. The project has since been completed.

Further strengthening its development pipeline, 4C Group and Regal secured planning approval in 2025 for the redevelopment of 33–35 Jamestown Road in Camden. The scheme will deliver 178 purpose-built student accommodation bedrooms alongside 27 affordable homes, complemented by flexible commercial space, enhanced green infrastructure, and an architectural approach inspired by Camden’s distinctive character and heritage.
