Minories Estate – Development Scheme Approved

Planning approval has been recommended by the City Corporation’s planning officer to convert the Minories Estate into a 500,000 sq ft mixed-use scheme, including office and retail building, 380-bedroom Hampton by Hilton and a residential scheme providing 87 flats.
Currently the Minories Estate comprises a number of vacant and underutilised office spaces in several buildings. It is proposed to redevelop the site in two phases, and the new three-building scheme will be called Minories London. Residential options were tested for viability, daylight impact and visibility to create a development of sufficient size to support the creation of a significant new green park for managed public use.
