Portsoken Community Centre, part of the Canopy by Hilton London City Development, is Now Open

The Portsoken Community Centre, housed within the Canopy by Hilton London City development is now open. The centre, a donation to the local community from 4C Hotel Group, the operator of the hotel, offers five fully accessible communal spaces for hire with kitchen facilities and wi-fi. The various mixed used spaces can hold between 8 and 37 people in each space with options for full centre hire between 88-100 people, depending on set up. The centre has one community space, an events space, two consultation rooms as well as a meeting room all available for hire.
The centre is currently used by a number of local groups and open to the public for drops-in sessions, events and hire. There are free weekly seminars and events available for the public to attend. Every Wednesday, AGE UK hosts their coffee mornings from 10am; At 2pm on Wednesdays, locals can attend Madhumita Bose Recycling Activities; On Thursdays, there is a youth club which takes places from 4PM – 9PM.
